Emeraude Escape transformed more than 250 square meters space into an interactive exhibition for HARIBO.

Over 250,000 visitors are expected to experiment the physical world of their favorite candies in 3 languages (French / English / German) by the end of the year.

The event is targeted to receive 1 million participants by 2024.

We created 5 interactive rooms:

  • 2 x factory
  • Haribo moments in our life (birthday party & fun fair for the kids)
  • Hallway of Goldbear
  • Movie Theater

The aim was to make people immerse in Haribo fictional world.

All decorations were custom-made by our internal team to create a brand experience for the visitors that will enable them to connect with the brand and enjoy the experience throughout the visit.

 

 

Many moments were made to be instaworthy, meaning that people take picture in front of them and share it on social network to raise brand awareness.

Last room was aimed to highlight PIK, a range of HARIBO’s candy, popular around teenagers.

Tech: Immersive Display

1.  Augmented Reality (AR):

Which candy are you?

Inspired by Instagram filters, we developed a facial recognition software to generate HARIBO candy that matches the visitors. It can detect a number of people at the same time.

2. Computer-generated imagery (CGI):

Be a character in your favorite movie

We created a movie theater themed room where visitors can press a button to take pictures of themselves which show up on the screen in front. For a more interactive experience, we also developed a software where they can choose the filter of their favorite blockbuster movies on the screen while taking pictures. Scanning a QR code on the wall, they can then download their pictures from an app developed by Emeraude Escape.

The whole process has helped HARIBO to increase User-Generated Content (UGC). People were then sharing the picture on social network directly from their smartphone.

All movie themed filters combined with HARIBO characters were designed by Emeraude Escape.

We designed 4 videos in 3D to share the brand knowledge and the product knowledge. We implemented 3D video with candy characters to relay important message of the brand to its clients in a fun and engaging way.

Our goal was the creation of a brand experience that will be memorable for visitors and develop the strong connection between HARIBO and its clients. Emeraude Escape team worked tirelessly for the beautiful decoration, the immersive display and the visit of the exhibition to be spontaneous and meaningful.
