Hybrid/Classroom
Classroom Gamified Training
This classroom-based digital training is conducted by a facilitator (anyone from your team) that control over the game and learning materials. A game 100% tailored to your company/brand DNA and identity, is designed and developed digitally in line with your training objectives.
Most of the gamified hybrid/classroom training we have developed for our clients consists of storytelling games and scenario-based games. Quizzes, puzzles, memory games, and matching games can be integrated into the training based on your learning content.
Players are split into teams for ideation, collaboration, communication and healthy competition. The facilitator ensures that teams answer before the end of the timer. Genuine commitment and engagement are required to achieve results.
The most important aspect of this format is the scoring system which appears LIVE on screen at any moment. It is undeniably the key element in creating a dynamic atmosphere during the gamified classroom. The objective of the game goes beyond simply playing and winning. It focuses on sharing knowledge, fostering healthy competition, and learning from mistakes. That’s where the role of the game master comes in. Ultimately, it’s a digital game designed for in-person participation by the players.

Game elements
The objective of this game format is to create dynamics among the teams, spontaneous interactions, healthy competitions, improved knowledge retention and creative and cooperative collaborations. Emeraude Escape offers the following game elements to achieve your training objectives:
Requirements:
The material and technical requirements for classroom-type gamified training only required a screen. Teams can either write their answer or respond directly on their phone.
The Classroom format can also be played remotely through Teams.
Room Setup:
- Adequate space for team collaboration and movement.
- Comfortable seating arrangements for groups.
- Proper lighting to facilitate screen visibility.
By meeting these requirements, the classroom training can be conducted smoothly and effectively.
What is the difference from other formats?
Even though this game is created digitally, it is made to play in a physical environment. This is the biggest difference from all our other game formats.
Case Study: Carrefour Digital Retail Training

Benefits of Hybrid/Classroom Training
This game format is especially useful for the companies looking into providing the training to their employees on large scale in a short amount of time effectively, yet have some scepticism on 100% virtual training. Here are several benefits of it:
Engaging and memorable
Of all our game formats, this one is the closest to the traditional training style. The edge over traditional training is that the interactive and immersive visuals and experiences in the game are more memorable and engaging compared to a training session conducted with a PowerPoint presentation featuring bullet points and some visuals.
Self-reflection and immediate satisfaction
The game is played live, with all players witnessing it in full transparency. Mistakes are not seen as failures but rather as opportunities for improvement and part of the learning curve, as the game master is there to guide you through them. This encourages players to self-reflect and level up quickly, leading to satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment.
Teamwork and strategy
The nature of this game format involves teams competing against each other. Teams are formed with varying skill levels, departments, and areas of expertise. It doesn’t matter whether players are experienced employees or newcomers. To reach the top of the leaderboard, team members must apply their respective skill sets and knowledge.
Adaptable and scalable
Our phygital games can be transformed into a 100% digital version. They can be designed with varying difficulty levels, thanks to their technical flexibility, allowing players to progress at their own pace.
Networking and collaboration
Connecting with people from different backgrounds and sectors while playing the game can expose your employees to new ideas and opportunities, ultimately broadening their learning horizon.
